The Highfield Holiday Club aims to provide a stimulating environment for children during the various holiday periods. A variety of holiday activities are organised based around the existing school facilities.
Course leaders are all members of the full time Nursery Nurse staff who know the children and more importantly the children know and trust them. In this way we provide a safe and caring environment for all the children to participate in the activities while feeling confident in all they do.
The club runs from 8.00am until 6.00pm. However, separate morning and afternoon sessions are available on request depending on the needs of parents. The club is open to children from the age of 2 to 7 years and they participate in activities appropriate to their age. There is a club for older junior children called Happy Heart Club which is based in separate accommodation and run by Highfield teachers.
Breakfast, snacks and drinks are provided during the day but parents are asked to send children in with a packed lunch. The correct clothing is important and the children need to wear clothes that will allow them to participate fully in all the activities and allow them to enjoy the rough and tumble of play plus the other rather messy creative activities they will pursue.
Here is a sample of some of the activities available to the children;
Structured indoor and outdoor activities, including ball and team games, painting and various art activities are provided. More reflective activities such as reading, listening to music and story time are also available.

Holiday Club handbooks are available from the school office.
The cost of the club is £23.75 per day, or £13.50 for half a day which starts or finishes at 1.00pm
All fees are payable in advance to the school bursar/office.
