At Highfield we place a large emphasis on our extra-curricular activities. We believe extra-curricular education has a key role to play in the development of the whole child academically, socially and emotionally. The wide variety of activities we provide throughout the week offers something for every child to participate in.
Our clubs run termly giving children chance to explore different activities each term. The extra-curricular programme is available before school, at lunch time or after school. Some of our clubs will be free as they are run by Highfield staff, however many are fee paying as they are run by outside agencies.

Individual music tuition is available in piano, brass, wind instruments and guitar. Please ask at the School Office for current availability. Music lessons take place on Fridays.
Before Half Term, our Preschoolers had an unforgettable time during their very first Secret Reader session! Mr. Cusack, our fantastic site supervisor, brought a thrilling pirate tale to life, complete with amazing character voices. The children were completely captivated from start to finish!

🎃 Happy Halloween! 🎃
A huge thank you to our amazing PTA for organising such a magical Pumpkin Patch event! 🍂
Families enjoyed picking their own lovely large pumpkins, getting creative with Halloween-themed crafts, and warming up with hot chocolate and gooey s’mores around the fire. 🔥🍫
The forest was transformed into a true autumn wonderland — beautifully decorated with hay bales, twinkling lights, and even a mystical yurt that added to the magic! ✨
Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a special event full of laughter, creativity, and community spirit. 🧡
