The latest from Highfield Priory

Year 4 loved their trip to Brockholes Nature Reserve.

They enjoyed orienteering and learnt how to orientate the map and use a compass! The challenge was to find the posts shown on the map. Each post had a number, this created a code which unlocked the box we needed for the afternoon’s activities!

In the afternoon, they walked into the wooded areas and were shown how to create fire using a flint and steel fire starter. The children all had a go and all successfully lit cotton wool! We also worked as teams to build some fabulous dens. A fantastic day out!Photos from Highfield Priory School and Nursery's post
